On devouring paper

In the last 4 years or so, in my world, patterned paper had made a
HUGE comeback. It all started
 when they introduced double sided
papers, and hired actual
artists to design paper.
Even though it sometimes hurts
my feelings to choose sides, it has
become a staple in my scrapbooks.

6x6 pads are the ultimate.
Especially when you LOVE an entire
collection and investing in the entire
line would cost a bazillion dollars.

Recently I won a slew of products on Instagram from Basic Grey's new line "Hipster"...I really really like it,
and all the paper is double sided,
which of course I think is incredible...

When I love a paper, I want to use every piece. Both because I'm obsessed with a pattern, and bc I'm very thrifty
and that stuff gets expensive. ;))

So. I started with this page:

It's a cover for a binder where I can keep notes for a project I am working on, and I was really just playing with paper.

I had A LOT of scraps left over.
So I got a cameo cut and kept going:

.....and after that I had all these cute little odd shaped strips left,
so I kept glueing:

remember all of your favorites? All those little squares and rectangles you have stashed away, saving them for someday?
Get them out, have a glue party, and

These are a total hodgepodge of companies. City & "right here right now stamps from Studio Calico, arrows from Cocoa Daisy.

Love adding current magazine typography to my pages. Those things are FILLED with words that were meant to be cut out and glued down.

how are you doing with project life? still loving it?
