whirrling around in my head. it's' time to shine light on that area of my brain. i have been saving stuff to glue onto other stuff for years. 12x12 stuff:

a lot waits to be painted.
so far this year's got me feeling like this:
not too bad. I LOVE what I do and I still hate my job every now and then. but I get to express other people's sympathies and happiness and regret. it's a very cool thing. a lot of emotion goes into the whole florist thing over time. people are asking me to send a thought with something I make out of flowers, and I take the whole thing very seriously. Wink.

I haven't done any actual pages in a while. by a "while" I'm guessing about 3 weeks or so. I think there won't be that many made this year. I have so many other projects

stuck in a font.
*waiting on a new year to take the cake.

if people know me from jack
the best bet's that i'm late.
prepared for rain standing in the sun
so tightly wrapped, still coming undone
in moments when i felt that i
could not go on and thought to lie
when music just refused to play
and i couldn't dance, just stood and swayed
i caught myself, to my surprise
i landed hard, but tried to fly.

still obsessed over summer.
summer.

i wait for it to come each year with a bit of WILD abandonment. and at the end it's kind of like I just got off a ride at the state fair. slightly dizzy but with a weird obsession to do it all over again; right away. a while back i vowed to JOURNAL more, and in looking at all the pages I photographed today I seemed to have a least gotten better. i also decided to get a new composition notebook, it was TIME.
getting dark + amazing palm tree = my heart beating faster remembering being there.
this is what I get when I say: CHEEEEESE!! these boys were awesome the day this pic was taken. and also hilarious in their little kid ways.:
I admit I got a little carried away. but the more ribbon and fiber I added the more I liked it. kind of like cowbells, you always need more ribbon.:

Welcome Baby Rabb.
Baby Warren Rabb Holt
Sept. 23rd, 2009
don't know the other details,
but I know he is perfect.
Just look at him:
This made my day recently.
I have been known to hold up a redlight
or make a U-Turn for an
awesome bird on a wire shot.
This one happened to be
at the end of my driveway.:

a little more.
okay, so a lot. I have had a good bit of time
on my hands lately. ben has been gone most of
the summer. (stupid military.) my
best friend is 850 miles away.
(the artsy, crafty, let's go do that
RIGHT NOW friend.) it's good
for the craft room though.
already on my table:
with a fro. should Fro be capitalized like a
proper noun? I think so.:
I really do wish I could take photos
that could be developed with my
eyes somehow. I'm pretty sure that's my
million $ idea for the year:
I never get permission from friends
to post images of them online. I hope
all of them are good sports.
(don't sue me guys, if you've
ever been to my house you know I don't have anything
that's worth a whole lot.) Except my friends, but
that starts getting complicated in a court of law.

my part in the wedding,
how the matchboxes REALLY turned out:
the birdcages. (ended up being the PERFECT peices to complete the setting:
how I travelled with all those flowers:
how I travelled with all those flowers:
(layers and layers of ice, petience, and love.)
the hotel sink:
( I felt a little sorry for the room service cleaning up after me, and then I remembered all those times that I left my hotel room SO CLEAN.)
the entire room was a mess:
(but very pretty..it smelled like a flower shop when you walked in.)
setting up is always the easy part:
one a the few shots I got of Ben & me was while we were running around the
restaurant placing things and decorating. I was so
weird about making everything so perfect, but I really
couldn't have done it without him.:
this was by far and away the best, most FUN wedding I ever got
to make. The colors were awesome, the bride was awesome.
The entire thing was perfect.
